The Henry Hudson 400 Foundation invites you to attend 'Hoopla on the Hudson', a benefit dinner honoring the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's legendary voyage. The guests of honor will be HRH the Prince of Orange and HRH Princess Maxima of The Netherlands.
Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the New York Harbor School, and fund the New Generation Competition and scholarships for future water managers.
'Hoopla on the Hudson' , the Future of Water Gala, is the festive highlight of the h209 Water Forum.
All places for the gala have been reserved.
The gala will be held on Wednesday September 9 at Bridgewaters, located in the heart of the historic South Street Seaport, overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge. With its beautiful outdoor spaces and splendid views of New York, Governors Island and the Verrazano Narrows - where Henry Hudson entered NY Harbor 400 years ago to the day of the gala - Bridgewaters will offer our guests an unforgettable evening.
The Gala is a benefit dinner in the best New York tradition. Proceeds will benefit the legacy of the 2009 celebrations:
- The New York Harbor School
- The New Generation Competition
- Scholarships for future Dutch and American Watermanagers.
